“The Ant and the Grasshopper”
Hi,Dreamer! Settle in and listen closely. Tonight’s tale is about working hard and preparing for the future.
During the bright summer months, a colony of ants was busy gathering food. “Hurry, before winter comes!” they called as they carried seeds back to their hill.
Nearby, a grasshopper relaxed under a shady tree, playing his violin. “Why work so hard?” he laughed. “There’s plenty of food now! Just enjoy the sunshine!”
One of the ants stopped. “We’re storing food for the cold months ahead. When winter arrives, there won’t be anything left to eat.”
The grasshopper waved a hand dismissively. “Winter is far away! I’ll worry about that later.”
And so, the ants worked tirelessly, while the grasshopper played and sang, never thinking about what lay ahead.
But soon, the leaves changed, the air grew cold, and the snow began to fall.
The grasshopper shivered as he searched for food. “Brrr… I didn’t expect winter to come so quickly!” He knocked on the ants’ door.
“Please, friends! I’m hungry. May I have just a little food?”
The ants peered out. “What were you doing all summer?”
The grasshopper sighed. “I was playing music and enjoying the warm days.”
One ant shook its head. “Then perhaps you should dance your way through the snow.”
And they closed the door.
Tonight’s lesson is clear:
“A little effort today can save you from hardship tomorrow. It’s always wise to be prepared.”
What do you think, Dreamer? Have you ever wished you had planned ahead? How did it feel?”
Tonight, let’s rest, knowing that hard work and preparation will always help us grow…
Goodnight, my Dreamer… Sleep well, and dream of a bright future…
